What sets Richard Emery apart is the rare combination of his background — spanning both music and video production at the highest level.
Before becoming a full-time music producer, Richard worked in New York City and Los Angeles as an in-house and freelance director, producer, editor, and videographer, collaborating with major brands and YouTube channels with millions of subscribers.
That dual background is what led him to found REP. While working as a music producer, he saw firsthand how much artists needed — content, assets, and consistent creative direction — and how difficult it was to coordinate across different freelancers to get it. REP was built to solve that: one place for artists to get music production and the visual content to support it, without managing a patchwork of creatives.
